Lee Cooper International is in the advanced stages of negotiating the company's sale. Gidi Goldfinger, CEO of Concept Shivuk, the Lee Cooper franchisee in Israel, says negotiations have reached the due diligence stage, but would not disclose the identity of the potential buyers.

Despite changes planned by the new buyer, Goldfinger says he has no fears for his own franchise, since his agreement with Lee Cooper is valid until 2010, and the fashions he designs for the Israeli market complement those of the international company. While Lee Cooper International's fashions appeal to the 30-plus age group, Concept's designs target customers aged 15-22.
