The flights to the North of Israel will end on June 1, as the operator of the Tel Aviv-Kiryat Shmona and Tel Aviv-Rosh Pina routes, Tamir Aviation, announced yesterday that it will be cancelling its regular service to both destinations.
Tamir blamed the cancellation on the "criminal negligence" of Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, along with the ministry and the Kiryat Shmona municipality's not meeting their commitments. Tamir had originally planned on cancelling its flights last summer before the start of the Second Lebanon War.
