The six Dankner households are expected to receive 66 percent of the capital gain from the sale of their controlling shares in Dor Chemicals, according to a prospectus issued by Ellern in September 2002. The Dankner family is selling its 58-percent stake in Dor based on a $65 million value, while Ellern is negotiating with a group led by Zvi Barenbaum to resell these shares at a value of about $145 million. The Dankners are slated to receive about $29 million of this $44 million capital gain.
