The Israel Corp. is trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a market value of around NIS 6 billion, after its share has rocketed 80 percent in the past 12 months. The rising share is attributed to several factors - two major ones are the strong performance of its Israel Chemicals holdings and the purchase of Zim shipping company from the state for a widely-recognized bargain price.
