Why did Israel kill Jabari?

Israel murderedJabari because they don't want peace.The western world ignored their cries for help and turned them away from Hitler's persecution,not the Palistinians.The good ol'e USA should build another two gigantic TOWERS where the twin towers once stood and all Jews that can't respect Palistinians and purchase realestate the way normal people do can move and live there.

Tell the families of those Israelis killed, wounded, and terrorized that their empowered leaders chose killing Palestinians to peace because it benefited their fancied geo-political agenda.

Why do we always find out about these "just on the brink of a solution" AFTER we take action. This is the umpteeth time over the past twenty years we hear "We were just about to bring peace/ceasefire/solution" and those damned right wing politicians destroyed any chance. Expcept that when the left wing politicians were in power, it didn't work either. Gimme a break!

Netanyahu - Any politician anywhere in the "civilized" world always prefers to convince the voter that it was he who was responsible for maintaining the good quality of life and peace. With no-one playing ball on Iran and Hizbollah relatively quiet, Hamas and Gaza were the obvious candidates for a conflict that served one purpose only - get Natanyahu re-elected. Its the same effect that Thatcher benefited from after the Falklands campaign.

And it's all going very nicely as far as Mr. nasty is concerned!

did jabari deserve death? yes was the operation largely for political reasons? yes do either of the above justify war and death of innocent lives on both sides? no

If Jabaari could bring a ceasefire, then he was responsible for the missile attacks going on for weeks and months until the Israelis began to take out the missile installations. Thus, Jabaari must have demanded something for his 'hudna'. Extortion and maybe blackmail got him killed. IMHO

Why? Maybe its because the stockpile of missiles by Hamas would become an existential threat to Israel into the future and had to be minimized. The conflict between Israel and Hamas is simply that of Hamas amassing weapons to be used on Israel. No more no less. The 'blockaid' revolves around weopens. Period. No threat to Israeli security, no block-aid.

You r making him sound like a saintly man with the fact that he was "expected" to reply "affirmatively" to a "long" term ceasefire! You are attacking Israel with empty speculation, and defending a man who killed innocent men women and children! What is his source? Baskin? his credibility was already shot down when he put this story out on his own. The hubrous of Baskin thinking he is a player between the fanatic Islamic jihady Hamas and our ministry of defence is breathtaking. Pedatsur is a serial critic of our defense ministry and the IDF. He attacked every development, including the Arrow Missile, the iron Dome and David's sling. He has yet to apologize for his IDF baiting in light of the success of all of these systems and their criticality in protecting our citizens. The man has made a carreer of bashing the IDF and he appropriately works for haaretz.

A] how do you know all this? why is there no other source of this fantastic info? B] why would such a despicable terrorist, who killed many Israelis, suddenly be approving a cease fire? Israel has been seeking this 'cease fire' for years, why didn't it happen until now? could it be you have an agenda, an axe to grind, and are not reporting objective truth?

So many thanks for bringing this terrible situation to light. Who was behind the denial of permission ? Who wanted death, destruction and suffering instead of life, construction and well-being ? Who decides this without consulting the people of Israel ?
