Who lives in a fantasy world now?
Culture Minister Limor Livnat insists that filmmakers should censor themselves in order to protect Israel. What she fails to grasp is that she isn't living in reality.
Imagine if you lived in a different country and in not in a "democracy to be proud of," wrote Culture Minister Limor Livnat to those Israeli filmmakers who cried foul against her decision to boycott "5 Broken Cameras," one of two Israeli films that were nominated for, and eventually lost out on, the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film.
