What Obama needs to tell the people of Israel

Obama needs to tell Israelis that their current government does not want peace and is on the path tat will bring a great disaster and possible the end of Israel as we know it. Obama needs to tell Israelis to go out on the street and make a revolution that will remove all of the racist and war hungry mongrels from the Knesset and bring to power the leaders that are willing to make a true and lasting peace with the Palestinian people and the rest of the Arab world.

But he also knows that Israel values a land grab even more than they value peace. He should also say, but he won't, is that in Israel it is democracy for Jews while Palestinian citizens of israel live as second-class citizens. He could also say, but he won't, that in the West Bank apartheid is the operative system. Sadly Obama will not tell Israelis what they must hear.

What about those settlements? They were developed and continue to be developed on Palestinian lands. What about Israeli response to an attack? Palestinians throw a stone and Israel’s response is a missile? What Obama should tell Israel is that we the taxpayers of the US are tired of supporting a corrupt government at a cost of near five billions dollars a year. That very money could be used here to pay for the needs of our children, medicine for our retired citizen and our own poor people.

It is hard to determine what impaired Mr. Foxman’s cognitive senses. Israel is an occupier, relentlessly appropriating Palestinian land and brutally oppressing Palestinians. Israel has the right to exist and should be praised for many achievements, but Palestinians have the right to exist too. Transferring own population to the occupied territory may constitute a war crime. Israel continues doing it. Who is Mr. Foxman to tell the president of the US, what he has to tell Israeli people during the visit to Israel. US interests and principles of the universal justice should be the only factors guiding Obama’s speeches. Israel can’t successfully neutralize Iran. Only deployment of the US power in an overwhelming and prolonged way can safeguard Israel. Mr. Foxman should not concern himself with what president Obama should say. Mr. Foxman should advise Israelis to carefully listen to Mr. Obama, because the US is the only guarantor of their safety.

House demolitions targeted assassinations Land Theft Beating Palestinian Children. Dropping WP on men women and Children. Spraying skunk chemical on Palestinian Homes. Creating Segregation through Jews only Roads and buses. Etc Etc Etc. And Israel is the Victim---eh foxman.

It is almost "a given" that Obama will stick to the script being written for him by right-wing Jewish organisations. He and Netanyahu have much in common. Both seek to maintain the status quo, it is only their reasons for doing so that differ. Bibi is intent on grabbing much of the West Bank for Israel, thus he does not need to change course. For Obama it is a lack of personal courage that prevents him from doing so. When he made his maiden foreign policy speech in Cairo he said that bringing about a resolution to the conflict would be one of his priorities. He promised so much and has delivered so little. Former Secretary-of-State, Clinton, would periodically describe as "unhelpful" new announcements by Bibi to extend the settlements. It was the best present he could be given!

Even if the peace process has suffered under the right wing government of Bibi. What Foxman means is speaking to israeli people on the street that theyre understood. It has been extremists on both sides that poisoned the peace efforts. To all of you who listen to too much Hamas lies: THERE WONT BE ANY PEACE WITH PALS AS LONG AS THEYRE RULED BY EXTREMISTS!!! Not in the 67 borders not in the 48 borders or any scenario under which even 1 jew is left alive not as a slave. Get it.

One has to question either Abraham Foxman's intelligence or his honesty. He is off the wall or out to lunch.

When I read the last paragraph of Foxman's proposed speech for Obama, about how "Israel that has sought peace, it is Israel that has been willing to compromise, it is Israel that has recognized there is a legitimate Palestinian narrative alongside the historic connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel,” I wonder what Israel Foxman is talking about and in what world Foxman is living? This is certainly not true of Netanyahu's Israel and that of his allies.

Dear Abe, given the outbreak of continuous hate and racial attacks here in Israel in the past year and a half, I would seriously like to hear you advice as to how we could create an anti-defamation league in Israel that will monitor the way we Israelis abuse the other in our society - I'm a concerned Humanist, Jew and yes, Zionist.

Under Netanyahoo's terrorist coalition, Israel has NOT sought peace, despite what the treasonous AIPAC and Congress may say. In fact, Israel has gone out of its way to alienate the Pals, and drive them towards radicalization. Also, just like AIPAC and every single other Israel apologist, Foxman is guilty of treason to the United States of America, and as such, he should not be allowed to speak. He certainly should not be giving orders to the President, which is precisely what he's doing by saying Obama MUST do.

You can always rely on Abe Foxman to talk nonsense. With more than 500,000 illegal Israeli squatters in the West Bank, how can anyone claim "...it is Israel that has been willing to compromise." And in case you have forgotten, Abe, the Gaza withdrawal had nothing to do with compromise and everything to do with a small settler group requiring too many IDF soldiers.
