The settlers act like spoiled children, it's not enough for them that the state is breaking international law to steal Occupied land and provide them with cheap, subsidised housing at everyone else's expense. They also want the state and society to change laws to suit them, to legalise their land theft and illegal outposts, to provide 24/7 military protection, special settler-only roads, settlement infrastructure and other goodies paid for by the taxpayer (including sawing up, transporting and re-erecting their illegal homes on another illegal plot of land!). And boy do they whine when they don't get their way. It's a ridiculous situation really, an 8% minority demanding all from the 92%, including total moral endorsement and unquestioning backing for their real estate adventures and far right messianic - racial would be a more accurate word - stance. To paraphrase Churchill: Never in the field of human conflict has so much been done by so many for so few, for so little return.
