Regarding the Foreign Ministry's initiative for international recognition of the Jews from Arab countries as refugees, one could apply the statement by Khalif Ali bin Abu Talib: "Words of truth whose intent is falsehood."

After the farhud up until the 1950 the Jews stayed in Iraq because emigration was prohibited by the government. In 1950 when the emigration ban was lifted for a couple of years, thousands applied to leave and everyone that declared that they were emigrating had their property and assets seized and their money frozen You think the Jews had a "fierce desire to stay in Iraq", learn some history before spouting this propoganda please
