and ignore the Israeli preconditions--no Palestinian Capital in East Jerusalem, continued presence of Israeli forces in the W. Bank to protect against an attack from Jordan, no Palestinian military to protect itself, legalization of all Israeli settlements not already illegal under Israeli law. They should come back and state that if the negotiations prove useless, that all options are on the table--i.e. going to the International Criminal Court to have Israel formally declared in violation of International law. The automatic consequences for Israeli of such a decision should persuade even the most hysteric two-state denier to rethink what is really in the interests of a democratic Jewish state.
