Obama’s Knesset boycott
If Obama wants to be heard by the Israeli public, he should not bypass the Knesset, as this will be regarded by many as an insult.
When the leader of a superpower speaks in the parliament of a host country, he is essentially according it honor. After all, with regard to most countries in the world there is no dispute over their right to independence, or over the location and identity of their capitals. This is not the case with Israel.
