Lessons in diplomatic coexistence: Taiwan’s relations with China

The current relationship between Taiwan and mainland China should be totally contribute to mainland China's friendly policies toward Taiwan and such relationship can not apply to any two countries because China wants to treat Taiwan as little brother and give Taiwan a lot favourate treatments on trade. You guys in Taiwan should appreciate such generosity from the mainland China. We, overseas Chinese can see and can feel clearly about this. We understand that the mainland China wants to buy Taiwanese hart but not always success because some Taiwanese are ungrateful. Mr Chang (or Mr Zhang in Chinese), please do not overestimate Taiwan's capability. If not because of mainland China's generousity, you will not be like what you are today.

Meanwhile, China threatens to use military force against Taiwan up to and including nuclear weapons if Taiwan states that they are independent. It is heartwarming to know that China who views the Taiwanese as their own citizens have so little regard for their lives that they would be willing to kill them all in order to save face.
