Most of Jerusalem was built by the Arabs, Romans and Greeks until the present day. Modern building has been done by Israelis and Palestinians.

How did it happen that Jews, who always sympathized with those who sought equal rights, and in fact saw that as in their own self-interest, have become what in Yiddish are called "grobe mentshn." Could it have something to do with the Zionist ideology that erased two thousand years of Jewish history, and the Jews' traditional language, as they were ashamed of both, leaving Israelis as rootless people, unrestrained by normal ethics? To make exclusive claims on the land on the basis of what took place two thousand years ago is too preposterous even to discuss. Do they imagine that because they have abandoned their history that others have no history, either? Read and reread what Amira has to say.
