Israel Must Allow Migrants and Refugees to Work

For many years, less and less funding has gone to welfare, education, healthcare (physical and mental), and every social problem is thrown at the police and its offshoots.

Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino said Friday that migrants in Israel should be allowed to work and jobs should even be provided for them, because people who work can earn their livelihood while people who do not work are pushed into what the Public Security Ministry calls "crimes of survival."
