The "Lieberman case" combines typical Byzantine intrigue with "Alice in Wonderland". It is impossible to understand whether to laugh or to cry. This new version of the law is an achievement by some incredibly funny bufoons, I never thought that we could go so far below the morals of the worst banana republic. They close a file that has been picked out for half a decade (after serially investigating the guy for 15 years and failing to build a viable case) and Shavit and his leftists believers in democracy try, judge, convict and hand Lieberman in the press. These guys and the Justice department are fascist/Stalinist who believe all truth lies with them and who have no respect for the rights of the individual citizen, especially the right of the presumption of innocence so sanctified in western democratic traditions. Next Weinstein will say Lieberman is "really" guilty, we sorrowfully just "can't" seem to prove it under law.
