Google it. Iran is on record as saying they supplied home manufacturing kits. ALL of these missiles are primitive rockets and can be made at home given the tools and chemicals

These rockets rarely cause any damage. They are designed to wear down an enemy and not to overwhelm the enemy. Damage is a bad indicator of the Iron Dome's results because the rockets they are suppose to intercept don't cause much damage in the first place.

Most rockets fired were Quassams, some Grads; neither are missiles. Quassams, if even loaded with a charge, have explosive charges made from agricultural fertilizer, and the rocket almost has to hit you to kill someone. (At least 2 of the 6 dead Israelis were actually physically hit by a Quassam they were trying to photograph from a balcony.) Hezbollah has, on average, many more, much larger, and more accurate rockets, and some guided missiles.

Don't underestimate. These rockets are produced almost industrially an the characteristics of each other are very close. They cannot target a particular vehicle or building but when tens of them are being fired on even a small town - a lot of damage is made. Absolutely no doubts here - the intent is clearly to hit a civils (i.e. war crime)

It's expensive and inefficient, but Israel did not have to pay for it.

If they can monitor they already know it's a failure, and expensive one. $50000 to destroy a $1000 rocket. Even palestinians figured that one out and started sending empty rockets.

Re: Tuvia, ID interceptors seemed to be fired at 50% of the Quassams, but normally two were fired each time. The Quassams probably cost $40 and a lot of effort to make, a Grad might be made for $200-400, plus effort moving it. Best prices for ID interceptors seem to be $62,000 or $75,000 for each. Quassam useless militarily, but stopping them with Iron Dome is an economic disaster.

And what about compensating damage produced by Quassams (not to speak about lost lives)?

The Iron Dome is designed to bring down short-medium range missiles. And there is the bigger Arrow System that is designed for ballistic and nuclear missiles. You can google it, simple as that. BTW the Arrow 3 tests were very successful.

Iron Dome wouldn't do anything against Nukes that would detonate from a distance and altitude. Iron Dome only defends against katuscha type of rockets that are destined to reach an protected ground area.

I don't agree with you on the military part, F35 is a failure, for now (its not finished yet). The Tar-21 is a great rifle, it malfunctions a lot less than the M16 and its more compact, I presonly fired both M16, Tar 21, Mtar 21, AK-47, Galil, FN FAL and believe me the Tar-21 is a hell of a weapon. And even the oldest merkavas can beat the Russian made Arab tanks. Conventualy no Arab country can beat Israel with basic military knowledge, both technologically and tactically. No offense, but False information is false my friend. And again, I agree with you that peace must happen, we are sick and tired of seeing people suffering on both sides. After all, the majority of the Israelis support a two state solution.

Time for ISRAEL to make peace? That's hysterical, particularly considering the subject here is Israel shooting down INCOMING rockets. If Israel didn't want peace they wouldn't bother aiming at incoming rockets - they could simply turn the rocket launch sites into several square miles of molten glass.
