If Israel does not accept Two States and therefore wants a single state then logically it means the raising of a bi national state which will see the end of the jewish state and within ten to fifteen years Arabs will be the majority and be in charge of what is now known as the Knesset. The writer of this article evidently wishes to rewrite history. He refers to Israel as Palestine (which is historically incorrect) and the Israelis' as occupiers where it was the Arabs who rejected the United Nations Partition Plan in 1947 and who started a war in 1948 when the Israelis accepted the partition plan and declared Independence. No less than 3 wars later, all started by the Arabs who never accepted the concept of a Jewish State, he complains that Israeli politicians do not want peace. How hypocritical. A review of history would show that it was the "Palestinians" who have walked away from a 2 State solution when offered by Israel to Arafat during a US sponsored peace conference. The writer is certainly entitled to his opinions but not to his own facts. This is not about peace and not about settlements or a 2 State solution. This is something more sinister which has permeated all of the Arab agendas since 1948 - namely the refusal to recognize Israel and the hoped for destruction of the Jewish State. Hamas has admitted as much in their charter and politics. So, lets call a spade a spade. You do not recognize Israel as a Jewish state, do not want any negotiations (although offered numerous times) and will continue to blame the Israeli government for your own racism.
