Bring it on, intifada

Who loves the kind of "normal regime" this writer seems to hanker after ? Who wants a repeat of the worst in the past ? What does the writer want for his people ? If this is all he has to offer, silence is not a bad option.

Shame on sub-editor for such a vile tag "bring it on"....the language of a imbecile thuggish teen.....I despair for future of Israel that such crude vulgar uninformed opinion piece manages to deserve a page on any page...

(and that doesn't happen often) because of this rant, oh yes, that's what it is. Again I wonder why an intelligent person like mr. Harel only thinks about fighting the symptoms. An occupied people has the right to resist WITH ALL MEANS. We all know why the Palestinians are still an occupied people and have not been annexed and given equal rights or their own state. The goal is to make life so miserable for them that they will leave, like most Christian Palestinians already did. Then the likes of mr. Harel can have it all. From the Jordan to the Mediterranian.

I wold just like to point out that the second Intifada fizzled out due to people having Intifada fatigue and it not going anywhere due to weak leadership. You will never be able to crush an intifada with military strength or operations. In this case, causality is not causation.

Where will you be when it hits the fan...hiding behind your desk no doubt!

- and find out that in the second decade of the C21st, virtually all of the rest of the world no longer believes that Israel wants to achieve a just and viable resolution to the conflict and that the occupation has almost no rationale except to satisfy the expansionist beliefs of religious and nationalist extremists. How will Israel be affected by this? Another intifada could just be the trigger that is needed for world leaders to decide that they are no longer going to acquiesce in this venture and that it is time to exert real pressure to bring it to an end. Why - because ultimately only Israel and some in America believe that Israel should be entitled to act however it chooses, regardless of the effect of these actions on the Palestinians and the rest of the region. Of course, an ending of the occupation will not resolve all the many conflicts that envelop the Middle East but it can only do more good than harm.
