A real Mideast peace process should look different

Only Rabin was sincere about pursuing peace, and he paid for that with his life. Aside from his own empty words, Obama is no different. It is WELL PAST TIME to see him take a stand on this issue.

Israelis must be convinced if they want to talk about a final peace , that they are part of the Middle East and not a part of Europe or America ! and for this they have to decide where are borders of their state with the rest of the Arabs , especially their Palestinians neighbors .

Unilateral withdrawal from Gaza. Two attempts to offer a full peace based on the 67 borders -- both rejected by the Palestinians. 10 month freeze on settlements. What more does professional kvetch Gideon Levy want as a confidence builder? A promise to commit collective suicide? How about Levy demanding confidence building from the Palestinians for a change? Here's one for starters: a full public statement from Abbas, IN ARABIC, that the Jews do indeed have historical ties to the land going back thousands of years. How about that Levy? Or is it always going to be Israel's fault from you -- an insufferable broken record.

The day that 10 % of Israel's Journalists see the truth as you do Gideon then we wont have a problem . A shake up in the Israeli media will shake up the scared , numb or hatefull populace that lets the misery and injustice perpetuate.

These are people who have planned or executed attempts of Jew murder. Should the killers of the Fogel family be released Gilad? how about all the other killers of Jews? You have zero empathy for your own people and zero belief in justice. Maybe if your family were murdered (G-d forbid) you would understand. You obviously don't have basic powers of empathy.
