Racists Against Racism Or, in Other Words, the Zionist Movement

It is mind-blowing that in a country whose past and present are riddled with racism the idea of memorializing the late Rabbi Ovadia Yosef - who was no stranger to racism - has drawn so much criticism.

There is a petition circulating these days around the country and on the social networks, asking people to object to naming a highway interchange or a street after the late Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. Apparently, his racism is the purported reason for launching this petition. Once again we can revive that poignant saying: “There are two things I detest – racism and blacks."
