The mother of 3-year-old Noa Goldring - who was strangled last month allegedly at the hands of her father - verbally attacked her estranged husband in court on Sunday, Army Radio reported.

"You murderer," Michael lashed out at her ex, Assaf Goldring. "You said you would stop with the lies."

Goldring, 33, from Moshav Batzra allegedly murdered his daughter before attempting suicide, as revenge against his wife for leaving him, authorities said in late July.

"He promised me that he wouldn't touch a hair on Noa's head," Michael said outside the courtroom on Sunday. "And he returned her purple and lifeless inside a plastic bag."

Michael accused Goldring of trying to evade punishment and garner empathy. She added that she hopes Goldring be brought to justice and be punished to the full extent of the law.

The hearing scheduled for today, the first in the case against Goldring, was postponed until late October at the request of his defense attorney.
