VIDEO: MKs caught on camera stealing in Knesset
Supreme Court orders release of footage showing theft of a voting machine and a plant.
By Jonathan Lis Tags: Knesset Israel newsA government minister and a former parliamentarian faced embarrasment on Tuesday when the Knesset released video footage which apparently showed them stealing.
In the footage, Immigration and Absorption Minister Sofa Landver (Yisrael Beiteinu) is seen stealing a plant from the office of another MK and former minister Ruhama Avraham (Kadima).
In a separate clip, former Likud MK Yehiel Hazan (Likud) is seen stealing a voting machine from the Knesset storeroom.
The release of the footage comes after a legal battle that ended with the Supreme Court ordering the Knesset to supply the tapes.
The Supreme Court upheld a May 2008 Magistrate's Court ruling that ordered the release of the footage under the Freedom of Information law.

The voting counts were done on Cypress. WE had chips in all the machines so we know which ones were stolen. They had location devices to them and no written votes were there they were scanned into fax machines and inputted immediately by WI FI computers so no fraud committed. Complete new technology. The same will be used with parlimentary votes adn district representative votes in next two years. It will be a staggered 250 person system. Some world wide. The same with ambassadors when they are voted in with total discloser before the people. Educational values and if a youth of 15-30 wants training to be ambassadors or diplomats then let them say and we will train. Rankoo-Karoon
It would be unnatural if they did not. Ask and they'll tell you they're entitled or the other guy made them do it. When they don't steal, they lie. It does not matter what country or party. Any exception only proves the rule.
send them home, but not only those caught on camera, maybe there some others more deserving.
Never heard of any precedent of such a footage in a democracy.
