It matters not what Bibi and Obama or Romney do or say. Obama knows it's the Obama Liberman (Yvet no Joe) that will determine US Israel policies if Bibi is re elected and that does NOT bode well for Israel.

In my book, Sheldon Adelson is nothing short of an embarrassing figure. Romney is guilty by association with this old scrooge. As for Bibi Nethanyahu: The Prime Minister of Israel - of any country, really - has no business meddling in electoral affairs of other countries. This is particularly true of a friendly country such as the US.

Myth or not, this purported power of this lobby was at least the emperors new clothes here to many in our US Congress. Now maybe Congress will see that going with America's interest first, even when it is in "defiance" of Israel's will, is not the kiss of death they assumed it to be, and we Americans finally will get back some real leadership here without Congress fear they have to kiss Israel's a*** and watch their backs. I know one thing about Obama: He recognized that if he bowed to Netanyahoo on this issue that Bibi was trying to force him into the corner on, he would spend the rest of his Presidency bowing. I think he rightly calculated to put his trust into doing what's best for America, regardless of the "backlash" from Israeli lobbies and their amen choir here. I am so proud I voted for him. I have nothing against any country trying to do what's best for herself - and that definitely means US, number 1, doing what's best for herself!

that American Jews are Americans, and they're far more loyal to the President of the US than to the Prime Minister of Israel - and they especially resent it when an Israeli Prime Minister arrogantly interferes in American politics and rather stupidly presupposes that American Jews will obey him. Olmert is a nice one to talk like that. He is in danger of going to jail because of HIS interference on behalf of his buddies, for which he was well paid. I still remember how he bribed to be able to make his house bigger, and more valuable. How he got away with it speaks volumes about the Israeli "justice" system, especially at High Court level.
