Three Border Police officers likely to be tried for beating Palestinian
Victim told police investigations unit that officers took him in jeep from Umm al-Fahm, beat him and stole his money.
By Haaretz ServiceThe police investigations unit has recommended trying three Border Police officers suspected of abusing a Palestinian man, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.
According to the Palestinian man, the three officers took him in their jeep from the Israeli Arab city of Umm al-Fahm to an area near the Megiddo junction in the north of the country.
The man said the three Border Police officers then beat him and stole his money.
