By Haaretz Service

Three people were killed in separate car accidents across Israel on Sunday.

A motorcyclist collided with a truck on Sunday afternoon near the Rishon Lezion interchange. He was critically injured after the crash and subsequently died of his wounds.

In another incident on Route 6, near Nachshonim, a man was killed early Sunday morning when the commercial vehicle he was driving overturned into a ditch on the side of the road and burst into flames.

Patrolmen who saw the burning car called rescue services.

A 17-year-old was killed near the Negev community of Moshav Tkuma after being hit by a truck in an open field.

The teen apparently fell asleep and did not notice the vehicle, which was there to load agricultural products.

A 30-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Saturday near the Motza interchange on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv road. The man was resuscitated and taken to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital.
