Soccer / Premier League / In draw, Beitar wins the battle of Hanukkah
Beitar's rise this season is almost incomprehensible, considering that its coffers are nearly empty. It appears head coach Eli Cohen can make a feast out of nothing.
While it seems only fitting that Maccabi should be the team celebrating Hanukkah, based on the Maccabees' legacy, the holiday belongs to Beitar Jerusalem this season. Beitar moved up to fourth place after it drew 1-1 with Maccabi Tel Aviv, which is back on top of the table, even on points with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
