For all the accolades by coaches and players, few seem surprised by Guy Pnini's outrageous antics.
The first time he met Guy Pnini, Zeev Baram remembers seeing a pimply, well-behaved teenager. Pnini, then 19, was on Maccabi Ra'anana at the time. "After a few months I said he'd be a player," recalls Baram, who was director of Bnei Herzliya. "He was an intelligent kid who understood the game brilliantly - a bold player who made the most of his talent, a winner."
