Six Killed as Truck Collides With Car in Kfar Sava

Two women and two children killed; accident comes days after five people were killed in Jordan Val. crash.

Six people, including two women and four children, were killed Thursday after a commercial truck swerved for an unspecified reason and crushed a family car at the Kever Binyamin junction near Kfar Sava.

Five others were injured and were evacuated to hospital care by Magen David Adom crews.

Only two days ago five people were killed after a private car rammed into a tour bus on the Jordan Valley's route 90, near Moshav Argaman. Preliminary investigations showed that the car had swerved from its lane, causing the bus to forcefully collide with its right side.

The bus driver said he had no time to respond. "There was no way of avoiding it ... he lost control and crashed into me ... I ran to the car, saw dead children and I couldn't do anything. I began to cry," he said.
