Singer George Michael in Israel for private visit
Singer George Michael arrived Tuesday afternoon in Israel for a private visit. Michael is to attend a wedding at the Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv. He arrived with his partner and is due to leave Israel on Wednesday.
Michael, 37, has sold more than 67 million records and reached the top of the U.S. singles chart six times. He was born in the north of London in 1963 and in 1981 formed the band Wham with Andrew Ridgely. Michael released his first solo album – Faith - in 1987. He performed duets with Aretha Franklin and Elton John.
