...from making statements that all but the "base" consider to be not only factually incorrect but way out there in "la-la" land: It effectively destroys the credibility of those making the statements, so when they do have a valid point to make, few are likely to take them seriously. It is one thing to quote from a story from the Shas journal but surely Ha'aretz should alert readers when those quotes contain clear factual errors. President Obama is not a Muslim. He is a Christian. Someone reading this article is entitled to know this clear error in order to determine what weight (if any) to give to the rest of the Shas article's comments. Intelligent reporting please, not copy-and-pasting.

If any of the US MSM decided to run with this story, Israel's previous diplomatic blunder would be like a walk in the park.
