Rishon Letzion man found stabbed to death two days after murdered
Mother of victim claims to have found him in his apartment, denies any involvement in incident.
A 28-year-old man found stabbed to death in his Rishon Letzion apartment on Sunday was apparently killed two days before his mother discovered his body, police said.
The victim's mother found his body riddled with stab wounds to his stomach; paramedics confirmed his death upon arrival.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after and opened an investigation into the man's death.
The victim's mother maintained that she found her son lying lifeless in bed on Sunday morning and said nothing else in his apartment struck her as out of the ordinary. Eye-witnesses reported her face appearing battered as she left the apartment.
The victim's mother has denied any involvement in the incident.

He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Naharia in critical condition, where his death was pronounced.
One day prior to that incident, a resident of Haifa, 49, was stabbed to death after she tried to intervene in an altercation that erupted during a birthday party organized by her 24-year-old son.
