Rises were recorded at the end of trading Tuesday on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The Maof rose 2.74 percent and the Tel Aviv 100 rose 2.26 percent.
The dollar weakened compared to the shekel by 0.4 percent and closed at NIS 4.292 - lower than the NIS 4.3 level reached last month.
Partner stocks increased 4.7 percent. IDB group stocks rose too, with IDB development and Discount Investments rising 4.7 percent, and IDB Holdings climbing 4.2 percent.Bank shares were also on the rise with Bank Hapoalim increasing 3.5 percent on a turnover of NIS 35 million.
