Report: Russian billionaire buys Hitler's Mercedes
Unidentified billionaire buys dictator's dark blue car from private owner for between $6 to $15 million.
By The Associated Press Tags: Holocaust Jewish World Israel news HitlerA German newspaper reported on Monday that German dictator Adolf Hitler's original Mercedes was sold to an unidentified Russian billionaire for several million euros.
The Express daily wrote that a middleman for the billionaire approached Duesseldorf-based vintage car dealer Michael Froehlich and asked him to track down the dictator's dark-blue 770 K model.
"I was really torn," Froehlich told Express. "After all this was about the car of a horrible mass murderer."
Nonetheless, Froehlich told Express he tracked down the car in Germany.
The paper said the billionaire flew in by private jet and bought it from the private owner for between $6 million to $15 million.

The jokes about the "new rich" are not from our time but from the period after WWI when a rather stable world order had fallen to pieces. According to the German magazine DER SPIEGEL (The mirror) the Russian magnate may have bought a forged car. Now I am not a friend of embezzlers but in this case my moral outrage is limited.

Hitler also wanted to kill all the Slavs, and repopulate their lands with Aryan settlers. He still killed a damned many of them too, something like twenty million, but they got the upper hand on him in the end. If it wasn`t for their apocolyptic struggle, Hitler would not have been stopped. I think around 7 out of every 8 German soldiers died on the Easter Front. If it wasn`t for the efforts of Russia and their sacrifice, Hitler would not have been defeated, the survivors of the Holocaust camps would be dead and a great many more, and Israel would not exist. I`m a Canadian, and I thank Russia too. Their sacrifice and ultimate contribution has been overlooked. Let one of their boys have his toy trophy, good on em. rightly or wrongly it is a part of history, and what a talking point at car rallies. In fact I have a large collection of Nazi memorabilia in the room I had made especially on the side of my 1st Floor Flat.
Someone has too much money. What about helping to feed the hungry and to build shelter for people less fortune. It seems this billionaire is living in an emotional and physical tower and is forgetting his humanity. Every morning Hilter was being shot up with chemicals that resembled crystal meth. He wanted the world to think he had super human stamina and strenght. I hope this billionaire oneday remembers that with great wealth comes a responsibility to make the world a better place. It is not how much money we leave behind, but the lives we have touched and it is the relationships that we leave behind that define our lives and the leagacy we leave. Hitler's car belongs in the metal heap.
