Report: Egyptian forces arrest Palestinian wearing explosives
Egyptian security official says Palestinian, 10 Egyptian militants arrested in Sinai peninsula.
By ReutersA potential Palestinian suicide bomber and 10 Egyptians were arrested in the northern Sinai peninsula, a security official said on Thursday.
The Palestinian, identified as Hamid al-Nador, was detained Tuesday while wearing an explosive belt inside a beach resort in the border city of el-Arish, the security official said speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press.
An Egyptian man, identified as Ahmed Abdel Moaz Mohammed, was arrested together with the Al-Nador, who said he was plotting attacks against Israelis, according to the official.
The official did not elaborate whether the Palestinian was planning to attack Israelis in Egypt or perhaps cross into Israel.
The official said that nine other Egyptians were also arrested Tuesday and Wednesday in the border city of Rafah. They are believed to be part of a large militant group which has already had 60 Egyptian and Palestinian members detained here since February.
Authorities have put the northern Sinai peninsula on high security alert, while hundreds of troops have been deployed searching for more suspects, the official said. Since Oct. 2004, Sinai towns of Sharm el-Sheik, Taba and Dahab witnessed a string of deadly terrorist attacks that killed 125 people.

Thank you for helping keep us safe, good work fellahs!
First things first, let him finish what's been started. His head can't cope with two things at one time. Olmert can't chew gum while he's walking, it's beyond his capabilities.
Egyptians thought they were heading for Sinai Hotels which is a large source of income to the Mitzri economy. It certainly wouldn't be the first time terrorists have attacked hotels.
The question is: Will Olmert wait till another "Eilat episode " happens before start building it ?
If the new Pal government says resistance (code word for suicide bombing) is the right of every pal, then why did their brothers in Egypt stop them? I can only hope that the new Pal government can learn to do the same from within their territory (country).
now it looks like the Sinai has its fair share of Palestinians willing to blow themselves up. I guess the dead giveaway was him wearing his suicide belt over his Speedo as he tanned on the beach
You should see at the family if they know for more fools. You should see somebody apologize to Jews. Just in this way you can see light days
