"No such invitation was sent. This report appears to be hot air," the paper quoted the source as saying.
The source was responding to a report in the Lebanese daily paper Al Akhbar that stated that Lebanon's Labor Minister Mohammed Fneish, a member of Hezbollah, was to represent the organization.
Additionally it was reported that the invitation would officially be addressed to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who has refrained from public appearances since the 2006 Second Lebanon War.
