Ran Hedvati is being officially honored this Independence Day for his role in preserving the machines that helped build the State of Israel – and he has a story for every one of them.
Dozens of tractors collected over many years from fields and abandoned warehouses across Israel sit side by side at the Tractor Museum at Kibbutz Ein Shemer. Repaired and preserved, the oldest dates from the late 19th century, while the newest rolled off the production line just over 10 years ago.
