Police suspect Netanya yeshiva student murdered by classmates
The young victim was found Wednesday morning in Netanya with multiple stab wounds across his entire body.
By Yuval Goren Tags: Netanya Israel newsPolice on Wednesday arrested two suspects in the murder of a Netanya yeshiva student who was found stabbed to death in the coastal city.
The two suspects, aged 22 and 35, studied with the victim. An initial investigation found that the three students were involved in an altercation earlier Wednesday night, and police suspect the fight led to the stabbing.
Police found the victim, age 24, at around 4:30 a.m., laying in critical condition in an open area near residential buildings in northern Netanya. Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and brought the man to Laniado Hospital where he was declared dead after a shortly after arrival.
"We found the man lying unconscious with stab wounds across his body, including his hands and legs. We began to perform CPR on the way to the trauma unit where he succumbed to his wounds," said paramedic Erez Angel, who arrived at the scene of the incident.
