Police Arrest 13-year-old Suspected of Molesting Children

Another sexual offender, Tuvia Hadar, given 12 years in jail for abusing 21 girls and young women.

Police arrested on Monday a 13-year-old boy from the northern town of Beit Shean on suspicion of sexually abusing 15 boys in the near by area during the last summer vacation.

The allegedly abused boys' are between the ages 3 to 14 years old.

The town's social services were informed of the suspected abuse and notified the suspects' family before the arrest.

Police have requested to extend his remand for further investigation.

Meanwhile, another sexual offender - Tuvia Hadar - was sentenced on Tuesday to 12 years in jail and 3 years suspended term for sexually abusing 21 young girls and women.

He was charged on accounts of sexual harassment, indecent exposure, theft and assault of privacy.

Amongst the charges he was sentenced for filming himself in several young girls' bedrooms while undressing them without consent, as well as filming students in the bathrooms of Ben Gurion University.
