Petah Tikva man arrested for alleged rape of 10 children
According to suspicion, man molested children aged 8 to 11, claims he was under the influence of drugs.
A Petah Tikvah man, 23, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of attacking, molesting, and raping at least ten children aged 8 to 11 during recent months.
The man allegedly met the children on the street and threatened them with violence if they didn't succumb to his demands.
Children recounted that the suspect used different means by which to gain their trust and entice them to side streets where he then molested them.
Following his arrest, the suspect said that if he were to have committed the acts, then he must be a sick man who needs treatment, and also added that he was under the influence of drugs during the acts.
The Petah Tikvah police believe that there are additional minors who fell victim to the man but have yet to complain.
Ten days ago, convicted rapist Moshe Morduff was indicted for attempting to molest a 7-year-old girl. Morduff was released from prison around six months ago, after serving ten years in prison for numerous child sex crimes.
Three months ago, Haifa police arrested alleged serial rapist Victor Visilayev, 39, suspected of attacking five different women since 2007. Visilayev was nicknamed the "photographing rapist," claiming he was in the habit of taking pictures of each one of his victims.
