A couple and their baby were killed on Sunday in a three-car collision at Hanegev Junction in southern Israel.
Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived on the scene immediately confirmed the death of the three, whose car had burst into flames as a result of the accident.
A passenger in a separate vehicle was trapped in his car due to the collision. He succumbed to his wounds shortly after the accident.
Three additional people were lightly injured and taken to Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva for treatment.
Police inspectors have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Including this accident, nine people have been killed in car crashes in Israel in recent days.
On Saturday night, three people were killed on Highway 90 near the Dead Sea. Early Sunday morning, two young people were killed while attempting to flee from police as the driver was allegedly drunk.
