Olmert vows to include women in future political negotiations
Comment comes in response to letter Livni sent PM before talks with Arab League representatives.
By Barak Ravid Tags: Ehud Olmert Tzipi LivniPrime Minister Ehud Olmert has committed himself to involving women in all political negotiations that Israel will conduct in the future.
"I intend to include women in every group or team that deals with political negotiations in the future," Olmert wrote in a May 17 letter to former MK Eti Livni. The comment came in response to a letter Livni sent the prime minister in April, before talks with Arab League representatives.
In July 2005, Livni and MK Yuli Tamir initiated an amendment to the Equal Rights Law stating that "in a team or committee established for the purpose of shaping national policy, including foreign and defense matters or for the sake of preventing, administering or resolving a national conflict, adequate expression is given to women."

Thank You Mr.Olmert for hearing women out and giving credit to their opinions!
Gender Quotas, the perfect addition to a government that has put an Uneducated Man in Charge of Science and a Dove in Charge of War. Forget Ideology for a minute and think about reality instead, find someone competent and just minded, regardless of gender, race, whatever and put them in charge, before it is too late. No more spineless coalitionists of either gender that do nothing but bend over for our enemies, while robbing coffers.
