Who are they to make conditions!? The only reason Syria is not a threat to Israel, is because we have the Golan! Let them go to hell!

"Rice added that the United States will give room for other conflicts to be aired at Annapolis, including Syria's dispute with Israel over the Israeli-held Golan Heights." http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/926762.html Rice has correctly acknowledged the obvious benefit of permitting Syria to voice its concern of recovering its Golan territory in the context of the legitimate broad context of Palestinian peace as the foundation of a broader regional peace.

Syria and Assad need to understand the Golan belongs to Israel. Syria had the Golan for a few years maybe 5 years and then went to war with israel. They lost the Golan and it has now been Israel's for close to 50 years. Syria needs to understand that land was won with alot of Israeli blood. Syria like the readers in Haaretz have said many times Golan is Israels and if you don't show up at Annapolis its no big deal. Your country is a terrorist state so do us all a favor don't show up. No one wants to hear Srria and Assad sing cry me a river.
