I believe in Aretz Yisrael Shelema with all my heart. I would not give up an inch of this land and wore orange during the disengagement. I support the settlers. However, the settlers are shooting themselves in the foot. Not with their ideology, but with their attitudes and actions. If we supporters of the settlement movement loose and have no representation in the government, it is only our fault for our actions. If YESHA gets taken away from us, it is our fault. We do more harm to the cause of YESHA than the Left does. Supporing people like Yigal Amir, shouting death to arabs in Betar soccer games, stealing olive trees, and destroying UN cars, and being racist against Arabs.

This is crazy! Has the right-wing lost its brain? A civilian kills a prime minister and is then a hero? I did not agree with Rabin, nor did I agree with Oslo. Oslo was horrible for Israel. But to kill the prime minister of Israel does not help our cause. Oslo happened anyways, what did the assasination help? NOTHING! It just put a huge scar on the face of the right-wing! Yes, thank you Yigal Amir for ruining the right-wing reputation once and for all. Now we can really expect the people of Israel to vote right and save YESHA. I love YESHA, but today I am ashamed to be right-wing. I agree with their ideology, but their actions are like crazy men. Is there a sound-minded right-wing settlement party anyone?

Arabs Attempted to Murder Olmert but were Released and will again

A Jew is in prison for shooting an Arab that attacked his home. Always the same, Arabs murder Jews and are released, Jews who defend themselves are not. The Jewish State must become The Jewish State Once and For All. Two Jews Shot Arabs, they never lived to see prison, they were torn apart by lynch mobs, one even after he was arrested and handcuffed. While Israel releases hundreds of terrorists in exchange for... Nothing. "Goodwill Gestures". When will those men who tried to kill Olmert be released again?

What happened to our old verses from the bible ? An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Let him stay in jail. Nobody says that you have to feed him. Save the taxpayers money and feed him one meal every two days.

it is normal to release murderers from prison in most countries and having served less than the sentence given at trial ! amir is no different and it was apolitical murder of apolitician who failed to consult the citizens of his country after the stupidity of the oslo agreement, this has been borne out by reality and experience !

Sorry, Don Camillo, but Barghouti's a killer
    • Joe Sittizen
    • 22.10.07
    • 21:56

Sorry Don Juan Camillo, but the law says (and not just in Israel) that anybody who orders people to go out and murder is also guilty of murder. Barghouti may be a charismatic leader to the Pals, but he's nothing but a scumbbag thug by western standards. Barghouti probably still thinks is ok to go out and kill Israeli citizens no matter what the situation. Barghouti believes the big Palestinian lie that anything they do is their "legitimate right to resist the occupation". Nothing is further from the truth. Killing Israeli civilians is not just against Israeli law, it's against international law. It's not legitimate. It's not a right. It's a crime. Amnesty and HRW both call it war crimes. Barghouti can rot in jail for the rest of his miserable life. Just like his fellow scumbag Yigal Amir. They are both convicted murderers.

Ideology is a wonderful thing but....

    • 22.10.07
    • 21:35

But seriously folks, comparing Barghouti to Amir is one has to consider the relevant factors; not wild emotional bluster. If the state releases Bhargouti will it benefit the state of Israel? If the state releases Amir, will it benefit the state of Israel? Analyze those questions. Compare the costs and benefits and you will be able to determine whether either will be released. Why release Barghouti? There is no indication that his release will significantly effect the course of Palestinian politics in the West Bank. If the Government had strong evidence that Bargouti's release would result in a peaceful two-state solution he would be free by now (Yesha would probably assassinate him - lovely people those zealots). If Bibi thought that Amir's release would get him elected then he would be pushing every political button in his repertoire. Sometimes life is nauseatingly "quid pro quo" but that's how it is. Peace. Steve

#10 - because Barghouti didn't kill anyone - Amir did.
    • Don Camillo
    • 22.10.07
    • 20:38

Biased extremists like to overlook the fact that the Police killed the assailant who murdered the chap in that cafe - Barghouti was nowhere near the scene. But the Rightists decreed that having killed the actual murderer was not enough - they wanted to accuse Barghouti of the same murder so he was illegally kidnapped, show-trialled and now sits in jail in breach of all international legal norms - a revenge trial. Barghouti never actually killed anyone. Amir did. That's why if they let out Amir then Barghouti should be freed first beceause he is not a murderer whereas Amir is.

Amir is Not Just an Ordinary Murderer, He Mudered Israel's PM

People try to justify the release of Amir by comparing him to Palestinian POW's who are released, when there in really nothing in common between them at all. Amir was part of a faction that did not want peace with the Palestinian and disagreed with Rabin's peace overtures, so they had Amir murder an Israeli leader. For that crime Amir must spend his entire life in jail, for if Israel were to release those who kill its leaders every time they disagree with them, the Israeli democracy would surely be doomed.

There has been one very intelligent response from Canada: "While I agree that Yigal should not be released, consider how often people on the left call for Israel to release Palestinians as a good-will gesture. You can`t have double standards. In my view, you can`t argue that Yigal Amir should stay in jail if you advocate that Israel release Palestinians who have done worse.' Unfortunately, the left give the impression that they support killers of Jews or Israelis so long as the killers are not Jews. I would like to hear more views from objective reporters about the Arabs killers who are being released. All killers should be punished!

Yigal Amir has never claimed his innocence in the abhorrent murder of Yitzhak Rabin z"l. Why would any moral, religious Jew countenance any form of leniency towards him? Personally, amongst a wide range of religious Jews I know, not one has an iota of sympathy for this criminal. The ones making their voices heard are the usual rabble-rousers.

If the morons in the video said "Let him out 'case he didn't do it." then great. But they say "He did do it." So they are: 1)morons and or 2)agents. By the By, Rabin WAS against Oslo amd leaving the Golon. And 'dats why they plugged him.

Ti answer that selfrightous idot in the vidioe what would I do? Report the person to the police and let justice take its course not commit murder. Whil Amir commited murder because a democratic election didn't go his way. What would I do for Amir's release? Solder the lock on his door so he can release hisself when he is thin enough.
