Shenkar names new department head
Dekel Bobrov has been appointed head of the visual communication department in the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Bobrov, a senior lecturer in the visual communication department, has in recent years headed graphic design and was in charge of the students' finishing works. He will enter the new post in October and replace Itzik Rennert, who will continue to teach in the department. Bobrov is a graphic designer and owns a design studio together with Michal Shapira, specializing in design for cultural institutions, publishing houses and cultural events. His clients in recent years include the Academy of the Hebrew Language, the Suzanne Dellal Center, the publishers Yediot Sfarim, Zmora-Bitan, Keter and Books in the Attic, the Docaviv Festival, the Piano Festival, Tzavta Theater and Agnon House in Jerusalem.
