New U.S. High School Holocaust Curriculum Unveiled at Universal Studios

Curriculum presented by Yad Vashem, ADL and Steven Spielberg?s Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation.

A new study program for U.S. high school students focusing on the Holocaust was unveiled over the weekend at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

The curriculum was presented by Yad Vashem, the Anti-Defamation League and Steven Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation.

The Echoes and Reflections program includes 52 testimonies from Holocaust survivors, documents, diaries and literature.

Yad Vashem specially designed a comprehensive website to provide active support to students learning from the Echoes and Reflections program.

Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev said the program is meant to provide students with broad and accurate knowledge of the Holocaust and to nourish positive educational values.
