The employment rate of ultra-Orthodox men is almost identical to that of non-Haredi Israeli men who have completed four years of education or less, according to a new study conducted by Dan Ben-David, the executive director of the Taub Center for Social Policy Research in Israel.

to apply to any population. "uneducated" is one of those buzz words that can mean anything from not know something or other to badly behaved. In te case HaAretz in theory, a professor who behaves badly is educated but a Haredi young person who doesn't know English is uneducated. Could it be that some employers who are prejudiced against Haredim don't employ them because . . . they read the item in HaAretz that said they were "uneduated" and therefore unemployable.
