Severe sandstorms and winds were hitting Israel on Friday at the same time that a short-lived heat wave, which began in the early morning, broke.
In the afternoon, temperatures along the coast are expected to drop by 12 degrees after the morning mercury in Tel Aviv reached 32 degrees centrigrade.
