Remedia food technologist given 2.5 years over baby-formula deaths
Sentencing comes one decade after 2003 case in which three infants died and 23 others suffered severe, irreversible damage to their hearts and nervous systems after having been fed Remedia formula missing key nutrient.
A former food technologist for the baby-formula company Remedia was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for negligent homicide by the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
