Rare photograph reveals ancient Jerusalem mosque destroyed in 1967

The destruction of an entire neighbourhood in the Old City, along with its wealth of historical and archaological data, dishournoured Israel in 1967.

400 Palestinian families ( muslims and christians) had lost their homes. The whole neighborhood butting up to the Buraq ( the Wailing wall) including shops and a Plasric injection factory were destroyed to make way for the open space that is the Wailing Wall Yard today. Most of the families were sent to Anata refugee camp . A Mosque is not the issue. The destruction of lives is the issue. All 400 familes rightfuly hold a grudge against Irsael , something they did not choose but was impoosed upon them by the Israeli occupation.

Lets be real here. Does this guy Kedar use the Zepelin photos to show every one of the Shula destroyed in the Jewish quarter. How about the entire cemetery on Mt of olives. This was done by an Arab occupying power deliberately. And didn't Saladin himself destroy holy sites in Jerusalem Enough of these self hating Jews. Jews need to be proud. They lost, we won.

They did so with life and limb.Not as Jews have been told to and then are massacred trying to leave. Too bad a mosque was destroyed ..... but even the report mentions that it was one of the few that existed from the time of Saladin. The Jews did not destroy those. Those were destroyed by the Chrsitain Crusaders. The crusaders that brought death and destruction to both Jew and Arab.

The school. in question was built by Arab Settlers on Jewish land and was a symbol of the foreign invaders who took the land from the Jewish people.

Too bad. Restoring The Jewish Holy Sites take priority because Jerusalem is The capital of The Jewish people, The Jewish State, and of The Universe. It belongs to Jews.

1 Mosque destroyed. over 30 Synagogues destroyed. Jewish graves and buildings destroyed.. Time to grow up and stop whining
