T'would seem to me some ultra-Secularists might have forgotten the struggles of single mothers who were forced to work on Shabbat to serve them at B-G lunch counters until the Labor Court forced thier contractors to let them have time with their children. Some of those mothers may not have been Dati, or Haredi at all, even Secular, but who cares, as the late Zvulun Hammer said of many of those who refer to themselves as "Secularists", they were in fact, Hedonists who regarded Halachic Observance it when it provided it inconvienced thier search for the "good life".
